Listserv News

We are growing! After careful consideration of our member needs we are moving to a Listserve, while still being a secure service for members only. The forum was a safe and inventive opportunity to interact online, but the majority requested easier digital communication. If demand is re-asserted by members, we reserve the right to reinstate the forum at a later time.
This listserve mailing list can be used to publicize exhibitions, publications, presentations, events, and any services you might also offer alongside your art practice and scholarly activity, such as translation, editing, photography, design, music recording, teaching, etc. The listserve to be about you and your needs.

Mission Statement
USArtBerlin is an independent artist-run initiative affiliated with the Public Affairs Section of the U.S . Embassy. Our goals: to foster, maintain, and sustain a network of creative communities among U.S. artists and cultural workers (those involved in contemporary visual arts, performing arts, creative writing, music, related writing/theory/critique/journalism, curation, and non- & for-profit exhibition spaces) living and working in Berlin; to encourage and support cultural exchange between its members, friends, and the city of Berlin; to develop and maintain links with relevant governmental institutions, philanthropic and commercial entities, and similar networks in the U.S. for the benefit of members; to advocate for and practice responsible volunteerism and philanthropy, both locally and in the U.S.; and to seek and secure self-sustainability for the American creative community in Berlin.
